The style of lessons that I teach require that students’ speaking and listening abilities are B1-C2. Key abilities the student should have are:
Speaking: Students should be able to express themselves on familiar topics and engage in conversations, providing simple explanations and opinions. They should be able to handle basic social interactions, such as ordering food, asking for directions, and participating in discussions about everyday life.
Listening: Students should understand the main ideas and relevant details in conversations, announcements, and presentations related to familiar topics. They should be able to understand information in simple, clear, and predictable language.

The type of English I teach is sociocultural conversational English.
Sociocultural conversational English teaches learners how to communicate effectively in everyday situations while also being mindful of the traditions and social norms unique to English-speaking cultures. The focus is on practical language use in real-world settings, as well as understanding the subtle cultural and social cues that influence communication. The ultimate goal is to equip learners with the skills to have smooth and authentic conversations in English, while also broadening their understanding of various cultural backgrounds. By achieving this, learners are better positioned to feel comfortable and form genuine relationships in English-speaking environments.

The teaching methods that I incorporate are:
Student-centered Education: Student-centered methodology puts the focus on the learner's needs, interests, and goals, making education more relevant and engaging for them. This approach encourages active participation and critical thinking, as students are often tasked with solving real-world problems or leading discussions. As a result, not only do they gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter, but they also develop important life skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and self-directed learning.
Interactive Education: Interactive education engages students in active participation through practical exercises and discussions, enhancing both the learning experience and the retention of knowledge. It also builds skills like critical thinking and teamwork.
Waldorf Education (adapted for adults): The Waldorf Steiner approach adapted for adults emphasizes a well-rounded, interactive educational experience that extends beyond mere academic knowledge. Through storytelling, role-playing, and debates, it nurtures emotional and social aptitude, benefiting both personal and professional life.
